MEET OUR FOUNDER
Galerie d’Orsay Founder and Art Historian Sallie Hirshberg began her corporate art career with one of Fidelity Investment’s top subsidiary companies and flourished in her capacity as an advisor, implementing major art acquisitions for public and private collections throughout the world. In 2000, Ms. Hirshberg combined her comprehensive art knowledge with her more than twenty years of fine arts business and counsel experience to establish Galerie d’Orsay, one of the world’s foremost galleries handling masterworks today.
Ms. Hirshberg, along with the gallery’s curator and rare prints expert, built Galerie d’Orsay’s collection to include over six centuries of rare and museum-quality artworks. The gallery features work by Rembrandt, Renoir, L’Hermitte, Toulouse-Lautrec, Pissarro, Manet, Picasso, Matisse, Dalí, Cassatt, Chagall, Miró, among many others. Celebrated contemporary painters and sculptors such as Bruno Zupan, Samir Sammoun, Richard Erdman, Luc Leestemaker, SEN-1, and Kathy Buist complete the gallery’s exquisite showcase.
