Bio
A graduate and former professor at the University of Chile, Basso has earned prestigious scholarships and international recognition, including the Valparaiso International Biennial Prize and selection for the Worldwide Millennium Painting exhibition in London. He is known for his elegantly simplified forms, fine brushwork, and bold color contrasts. His work is featured in major collections such as the Museum of Modern Art in Santiago and has been commissioned by figures like Queen Sophia of Spain and the U.S. Office of Export Administration. Basso’s evocative style resonates globally, bridging cultural and aesthetic boundaries.
